Event details for Movie Under the Stars: A Drive-In Featuring the Film “Knots”
Please note the following details, including precautions to keep this event covid-safe:
Movie Under the Stars will take place Saturday, September 12 (rain date Sunday, September 13).
Before you leave to the event, consider installing a free app so you can listen to the film soundtrack on your phone or tablet. See below (under THREE WAYS TO LISTEN).
The event location is Middlesex County College, Parking Lot #2. The address for GPS is 2600 Woodbridge Ave., Edison, NJ 08837.
Enter through the main college entrance and stay on College Drive East until you see Lot #2 on your left (across from Lot #1).
Gates will open at 6:30 p.m., and the event will begin at 7:15 p.m. No late arrivals are allowed.
Admission is per person, not per car, so make sure each guest in your car has purchased admission.
Please carpool only with others in your “pandemic pod.”
Bring a mask to wear when you’re interacting with Unchained team members – who will also wear masks.
Also bring a phone and credit card for a little interactive fun!
Parking spots will be assigned in order of arrival, with oversized vehicles assigned to a special section.
Cars will be spaced 6 feet apart, so you may roll down your windows during the event.
Remain in your car during the entirety of the event.
Restrooms will not be available, so plan accordingly.
No smoking (Middlesex County College is a smoke-free campus).
No littering.
You may not keep your car running during the event (that is unlawful and harmful to the environment).

THREE WAYS TO LISTEN
You have three options for listening to the film soundtrack while you watch “Knots”:
1. Listen on your phone or tablet.
At home, before you leave to the event, install the free CiNet.com app on your device.
After you arrive at the event and park your car, go to your device’s WiFi settings. Connect to whichever of these three networks shows the most bars: DRIVE IN, Wireless 1 or Wireless 9. (Note that the network only broadcasts the film soundtrack; it does not offer internet access.)
Once your device has connected to the best network, open the CiNet.com app.
Give the app up to a minute to recognize the network. When it does, you will see options for various channels. Select Channel 1.
You can listen to the soundtrack on your device or connect it to your car or external speaker via USB cord or aux wire.
NOTE: The slideshow playing on a loop does not include any audio, so do not worry that you cannot hear it.
If the sound drops during the film or you have other issues, refresh the CiNet.com app.
If you have issues you cannot resolve, turn on your car’s hazard lights. Someone from the AV team will approach to help you.
2. Roll down your windows and listen to the giant speakers near the screen.
3. Switch your car ignition to accessory mode and tune your radio to the FM station Unchained will announce at the event.
