Shara Mason is a seasoned Treasury Management Officer with over 12 years of experience in cash management and financial services. Throughout her career at JPMorgan, Shara has held various roles, cultivating deep expertise in Treasury Sales and Compliance.
In 2022, Shara expanded her professional scope by joining Amazon as a corporate practitioner, where she successfully managed the company’s global cash pooling program. Her leadership resulted in the consolidation of more than $1.2 billion in standalone cash balances within two years, spanning multiple regions.
Returning to JPMorgan in 2024, Shara now provides strategic consulting to clients in the nonprofit, healthcare and higher education sectors. In 2025, she earned the Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation, a globally recognized credential administered by the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP), signifying excellence and competency in the treasury field. Shara holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing from Pennsylvania State University.
Professionally, she partners with mission-based organizations, but personally, she prides herself on doing her part to make the world a better place. She has been surrounded by powerful women throughout her career and in her own family– their stories of pain and perseverance always inspired her to keep going in spite of obstacles. Shara completed her due diligence on Unchained At Last and was moved by Fraidy’s story of resilience and triumph leading to the founding of the first survivor-led nonprofit dedicated to ending forced and child marriage in the United States.
Abby Rudzin is a partner at O’Melveny & Myers LLP specializing in securities litigation. She graduated from Cornell University and has a J.D. from The University of Chicago Law School. She joined the board because she believes in a woman’s right to be in charge of her own life.
Rahel Bayar is the founder and CEO of The Bayar Group, a global consultancy focused on abuse and harassment prevention. She is a former sex crimes and child abuse prosecutor from the Bronx District Attorney’s Office and a former Managing Director of the Sexual Misconduct Consulting and Investigations Division of at large investigative firm. Rahel has experience in both the public and private sector and is a widely renowned key note speaker on abuse and harassment prevention. She partners with schools, camps, national sports organizations, media companies and many other entities worldwide to bring best practices on creating safe spaces into communities and workplaces. She is a graduate of Rutgers University and Seton Hall University School of Law.
Rahel joined the board because she is deeply supportive of the mission to end child and forced marriage.
Jamie Allen Black is currently the Director of Philanthropy & Engagement at the Streicker Center, a hub for arts and culture in NYC. Previously, she served as CEO of the Jewish Women’s Foundation of New York (now Elluminate). Jamie shepherded the organization into a new way of being – supporting women social entrepreneurs solving intractable problems around the globe. Her commitment to giving voice to women is the reason Jamie chose to join the Board of Unchained. Jamie embodies 30 years of experience leading in the nonprofit arena. This history centers around promoting inclusive and diverse Jewish communities and mentoring both professionals and volunteers. In 2017, Jamie co-founded with another Unchained board member, Naomi Eisenberger, Executive Director of The Good People Fund, Ta’amod: Stand Up! – a Jewish communal response to gender harassment and abuse in the workplace. Jamie is a graduate of New York University and was honored with the Dean’s Alumni Award for Humanitarianism. She sings in the Community Choir at Central Synagogue and has a not-so-secret life as a voice actor.
Naomi is the Founding Executive Director of The Good People Fund and assumed her role after more than 10 years as the Managing Director of the Ziv Tzedakah Fund. Her diverse background as a high school history teacher, kosher caterer and small business entrepreneur have prepared her well for the many hats she wears as GPF’s chief executive. Prior to her work at Ziv, Naomi and her husband ran a family retail business for 14 years. For the past 15 years, she has drawn on her extensive business and nonprofit experience to help grantees build their own successful nonprofit organizations. Her interest in Unchained At Last began more than 10 years ago when she was introduced to Fraidy Reiss and her work. GPF was Unchained’s first major donor and continued supporting their work for 10 years.
Stacey Slater is the President and Founder of Pro Bono Strategies, a consulting firm that helps law firms and in-house legal departments to develop their pro bono programs in a cost-effective way. She previously spent 24 years at the law firm Nixon Peabody LLP, where she was a litigation partner and then firm-wide Pro Bono Partner. Stacey serves on the national board of Family Promise (a national non-profit that helps homeless families), where she co-chairs the Governance Committee, and is a longstanding Member of the Board of Trustees of Congregation Ohr Shalom-Summit JCC, where she serves as Membership Chair and Social Action Co-Chair. Stacey also sits on the board of Eleven+, a non-profit that provides valuable paid internships to underserved students, and on the board of Volunteer Lawyers for Justice.
Finally, Stacey handles her own pro bono matters, most recently helping victims of sex trafficking and low-income tenants. Stacey is a former member of Association of Pro Bono Counsel, the Leadership Committee of the Charity Corps, and New York City Bar Association Pro Bono Committee.
Stacey joined the board because she is very supportive of Unchained’s mission to end child and forced marriage and shocked at how many states still allow it. She’s also impressed by the advocacy work Fraidy and her team have done to date, helping to end child and forced marriage in several states so far.
Anne is a Principal at Rocaton Investment Advisors, where she serves as an investment consultant leading client relationships across endowments and foundations, healthcare systems, pension plans, and 401(k) plans. In addition to working with institutional investment clients, Anne has served on the management committee, sales and marketing committee, investment committee and diversity and inclusion committee.
Anne currently Chairs the Advisory Council at the Pembroke Center for Teaching and Research on Women at Brown University. The Pembroke Center conducts research and teaching that explores social inequalities and examines categories of difference such as gender and race and how they affect our thinking. The Council also supports the Pembroke Center’s undergraduate research grants, postdoctoral fellows, academic courses and a Feminist Theory archive. The Advisory Council works with the Pembroke Center to develop programming events on topics including voting, healthcare, education, the economy and human trafficking. Anne also co-heads the Northeast Regional Event Programming committee for Brown University’s Women’s Leadership Council. She has helped to establish a Brown Women’s Network in NYC, organized industry educational and networking events in fields including social impact/non-profit and the law and developed programs for alumnae ranging from author book talks to a panel of female documentarians.
Anne is a graduate of Brown University with a degree in Applied Math-Economics and earned an MBA from Columbia University.
Lori is a Partner in the Audit and Accounting and Advisory Services Departments of Prager Metis CPAs, a member of Prager Metis International. She also serves as the Managing Partner – Mid-Atlantic Region. She has been in the accounting industry since 1984.
Lori specializes in audit and assurance services, litigation support and business valuations. She works with clients in a variety of industries including closely held businesses, real estate and the U.S. subsidiaries of foreign banks and corporations. Lori has a strong international expertise, particularly with companies headquartered in Israel. She strongly believes in working closely with business owners in a team approach. She provides much needed depth at the top level to these business owners.
Lori’s expertise includes working as a neutral accountant (either court- appointed or hired as a joint expert by either parties or their attorneys). She works as a business valuator and also as an impartial financial consultant when issues pertain to support and equitable distribution. She has been involved in matrimonial cases, as a certified divorce mediator, as well as shareholder disputes, corporate dissolutions, estate situations, and business acquisitions.
Christine Brown spent much of her career supporting non-profit organizations and their leaders to expand and enrich their capacity and the reach of their missions. Prior to moving to the social sector, she held senior leadership positions in marketing and customer service for consumer product and telecommunications firms. As the Associate Executive Director of the Fresh Air Fund in New York City for nine years, she streamlined operations, improved volunteer and community relations and upgraded technology.
Christine has worked as a Leadership Development Consultant for more than 20 years. In this capacity, she has mentored executives to expand their leadership skills and vision, encouraged boards to embrace their governance and fund development roles and nurtured growing organizations to invest in the people, processes and systems that will sustain them. Recently she has used her experience and skills to support several New Jersey organizations in board leadership roles.
Christine is a graduate of Penn State and earned an MBA from George Washington University and a MSW from Columbia University.
Richard is Counsel and Director of Pro Bono Programs for DLA Piper (US). He focuses his pro bono practice in family, disability and education law. Since joining the firm in 2007, Richard has helped develop several initiatives in these areas, including leading the firm-wide effort to promote equal access to education. Richard has an active caseload and mentors associates with their pro bono cases.
Richard has dedicated his professional legal career to providing equal access to justice to indigent individuals. Before joining DLA Piper, he worked at the New York Legal Assistance Group (NYLAG), New York’s largest privately funded legal services organization. Richard joined NYLAG in 1993 where he represented clients in all facets of matrimonial and family law and later created NYLAG’s first pro bono program.
After graduating from Skidmore College with high honors, Richard spent two years in banking at Chase Manhattan Bank (now JP Morgan Chase).
